without comments

If you have a job in which you do some type of work and receive money in exchange, you have probably thought quite a lot about insurance.  You may already have insurance for your self or even for your business, but you might not have errors and omissions insurance.  With errors and omissions insurance, the worker is protected against any client complaints or claims that a mistake has been made.

without comments

According to Stephen R. Covey, author of “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People” (1989), one of the major factors in a successful person is that they put “First Things First.” They will plan, prioritize and execute what they believe to be most important, in order to accomplish their goals.

This concept is true for business, too. In order to succeed, you must have a marketing plan. You must have specific goals in mind, and concrete steps to accomplish in order to grow your business. As a  decision-maker, you will need to know exactly how to market your product or service. If you sit back and just expect things to happen, then your business is guaranteed to fail.

without comments

Using the analogy of a firing range can be helpful in seeing the wrong way, and the right way to start your business.
